These are the names of six Asians killed in the savage spa slayings that claimed two other lives last week in America. Although what took place in the Atlanta area is still under investigation, it is clear, once again, this was a racially motivated hate crime. Since the start of the pandemic, the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community has endured over 3,800 anti-Asian racist incidents.
We here at Knack recognize the pain and anger rippling through the AAPI community. We see you. We hurt with you. We will not be silent in the face of yet another painful call-to-action to continue to fight against the insidious viruses of hate, xenophobia, discrimination, and racism.
