Job Description
The primary role of the Sr. Project Manager (PM) is to own the full project lifecycle from client intake to retrospective. This role will encompass tasks such as project scheduling, budget management, resource allocation, billing ownership, creative routing, client relations and campaign delivery. A successful PM will work alongside all team members to ensure projects are delivering against KPIs and continuously monitor project health via resourcing, profitability, and burn rates. The PM is committed to delivering exceptional project work over and over.
What you will do:
1) Project Management
Apply communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to fully manage the internal workflow, delivering work on time and budget with high internal satisfaction
Day-to-day execution and management of multiple projects and/or accounts, maintaining quality and accuracy
Identify risks and resolve/mitigate wherever possible, escalating when needed and assisting the team in resolution
Onboarding cross-departmental team members to project scope and ways of working to ensure QA and compliance
2) Client Management and Account Support
Have regular communication with client stakeholders throughout project execution to deliver project schedule and budget status updates, route creative and mitigate any issues as they arise.
Have a strategic understanding and ability to work with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that best meet client needs, while remaining on spec, on time, and on budget
Partner with client engagement to ensure client satisfaction overall, maintaining quality and accuracy while managing multiple projects and client stakeholders
3) Tools Compliance
Utilize tools to effectively communicate schedules, manage budgets, and resourcing
Ensure compliance (tools adoption) across the project team
4) Project Scoping, Estimating, Burn and Billing Management
Define scope and lead SOW creation, execution, and billing management
Manage project monthly billing and associated requirements
Identify risks and resolve/mitigate wherever possible, escalating when needed and assisting the team in resolution
5) Process Development, Refinement, and Training
Proactive in your approach, assess current processes to develop new ideas for continuous improvement
Solutions-oriented, collect and analyze data and testing solutions for process improvements and new initiatives
Work in collaboration with the operations manager to ensure successful rollout of robust training and process documentation
Job Requirements:
5+ years of project management or account management or equivalent work in a marketing/advertising agency
Microsoft, AWS, Google experience preferred
Creative production management required
Experience working with internal and external creative and project resource teams
Experience in the cloud tech/software industry a plus
Strong experience with PM tools (mavenlink, wrike, etc)
Ability to provide proactive and assertive project management in problem solving, managing financial success of projects, maintaining timelines, and reducing churn
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflict within assigned projects
