Business Manager

Knack Collective is looking for an extremely detail oriented person that can work closely with our CEO to lead strategic projects and business initiatives critical to ensure overall productivity and efficiency of agency operations. In this role, you will collaborate with Senior executives to enable data-based decisions and implement strategies that help generate revenue and ensure profitability while maintaining high employee and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organizational structure and be familiar with a variety of different financial and business management tools, including but not limited to: Salesforce, Slack, Box, Excel, PowerPoint and QuickBooks. With a strong technical aptitude and ability to think outside the box to create business solutions, this person will have a passion for developing and implementing business processes and procedures that will help optimize Knack’s workflow.

responsibilities

  • Developing business management goals and objectives that lead to revenue growth and profitability

  • Collaborate with CEO to design and implementing business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of company goals

  • Ensure each discipline has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities

  • Optimize the company’s processed and workflow to ensure high-quality output 

  • Ensure all day-to-day operations are aligned with the Knack brand 

  • Monitor, evaluate, and troubleshoot financial performance, providing regular reporting and analysis

  • Manage end-to-end financial processes including project estimation, drafting SOWs, payroll and invoicing

  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and strong organization 

  • Work with Senior leadership across multiple teams to establish best practices and procedures

required skills and experience

  • 4+ years’ experience in business management or operations 

  • Technical aptitude for cloud-based solutions and implementation strategies 

  • 3+ years’ in an agency setting preferred

  • Start-up experience preferred 

  • Extremely detail oriented 

  • Proactive and deadline driven 

  • Highly motivated with the ability to thrive in an ever-evolving start-up environment  

  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of improving business insights  

  • Experience in developing best practices and processes across different teams 

  • Proactive, get it done attitude 

  • Ability to multi-task and keep up in a fast-paced work environment
